FlexClip Video Creator Review

According to Insivia, 100 million people will watch a video online every single day. The power of video content compared to other forms of content, like written content, is staggering. As per several studies, 95% of viewers retain a message when consumed via video, as compared to 10% for written content.

Nowadays, you can create professional-looking videos even without any design skills or video creation skills. This is because of the rise of video creation software, both web-based and desktop versions.

Over the years, I’ve used many different online and desktop video creators and video editors. One such video creation tool is FlexClip which I’ve been using for several year now. Since I first started using it back in 2019, FlexClip has improved drastically.

FlexClip is an online video creator and editing tool designed for both beginners and experienced users. It offers a clear and easy-to-navigate user-interface, basic video editing tools, AI tools to speed up the video creation process, and thousands of premade video templates.

In this blog post, I will cover some of the key features, benefits as well as limitations of this web-based video creation app and editing tool.

Main FlexClip Features

Video Creation: Beginners will find FlexClip easy-to-use because of the thousands of premade video templates and sections that can be used to create professional-looking videos without any design skills. Whereas, experienced video creators will find FlexClip useful because it allows flexibility to create videos from scratch, if needed, as well as advanced features to create unique videos.

Video Editing: FlexClip provides a set of easy-to-use editing features such as trimming, splitting, cropping, adjusting video speed, and adding animations. You can also add a variety of transitions to your scenes which can enhance the quality of your videos.

AI Integration: FlexClip incorporates AI tools like text-to-speech functionality, AI auto subtitle generator, one-click background removal, automated video creation, and intelligent video editing. However, given that the AI feature in FlexClip is new and evolving, it is not as good as you would expect it. Based on my experience using it so far, it does need improvements.

Collaborative Creation: FlexClip’s cloud-based architecture enables seamless collaboration from anywhere, anytime with an internet connection. Given that this is an online video creation app, you can access it from any computer via the internet.

Media Library: Users have access to millions of royalty-free stock photos, video footage, and music to create custom videos. You can also upload your own photos and video clips. Their library of premade templates and section templates is also growing regularly.

AI Capabilities of FlexClip

AI Video Script: With FlexClip you can generate video scripts, using ChatGPT. Once the video script is generated, you can then create a video from the script. This can help you create videos fast.

Text to Speech: FlexClip features a text-to-speech tool that can convert text into high-quality, natural-sounding audio. There are different accents and languages that you can use to generate TTS.

AI Auto Subtitle Generator: This tool uses advanced machine learning algorithms to accurately recognize audio in your creation and place subtitles separately at the right moments of the video.

One-Click Background Removal: This tool allows users to easily erase backgrounds from portraits, product photos, and graphic elements.

Automated Video Creation: Users can generate videos using AI text prompts, an article, or a website URL. This can come very handy since this expedites that video creation process.

AI Translator: This AI feature allows you to create multi-language videos with ease. Some of the languages that you can create videos in are English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Japanese, Hindi, Arabic, Chinese, and others.

Benefits of Using FlexClip

Ease of Use: FlexClip is user-friendly, making it accessible to users with no video editing experience. The thousand of premade video templates make it easy to create videos fast.

Cloud-Based: Being a cloud-based platform, users can access their videos and projects from anywhere with an internet connection. This means you do not need to download and install the app on your computer. That being said, they do have a desktop paid version as well.

Affordability: FlexClip is free to use, though the free version does have limitations. The paid version is affordable, with monthly pricing plans starting at $9.99 paid annually. Please check the website for the latest pricing.

Some Limitations of FlexClip

The free version of FlexClip has limitations like up to 720p quality videos. Limited number of stock images, video footage, and AI quotas. Maximum of 12 saved projects and up to 10 minutes of video length.

Given that this is a cloud-based video creation tool, you will need an internet connection. However, this can also be a benefit because you don’t need a high-end computer to process the videos.

Though FlexClip is easy-to-use, if you’re very new to video creation, there will be a slight learning curve to familiarize to the user-interface and various features and functionality. That being said, I have created many step-by-step video tutorials to help you use FlexClip.

FlexClip Pricing Plans

FlexClip offers two paid subscription plans. The Plus plan costs $9.99 per month, and the Business plan costs $19.99 per month, paid annually. Both plans allow users to export videos in 1080P full HD without a watermark.

The Business plan offers up to 4K Ultra HD downloads, unlimited stock images and videos, 100GB of cloud storage and 1TB of video hosting. Please check the FlexClip website for most current pricing.

FlexClip Video Tutorials

Overall, FlexClip is easy-to-use and user-friendly for most part. However, if you’re new to video creation or to FlexClip, you may find there is a learning curve to using it. I’ve used FlexClip extensively over the past few years to create different types of videos. So I’ve created several YouTube videos to help you learn and use FlexClip. Below is a playlist of some of these videos which I hope you find useful.
